“This place is fantastic! The building is large, open and airy and offers a jaw-dropping view over the riverside of Varanasi, the ghats and the sandy banks of the opposite side of the Ganges. There are plenty of places to sit and enjoy the breezes coming in from the river, as well as a decent little restaurant on the top floor (mildly overpriced, but having the delicious beaten rice and tea available right from the hotel is very convenient). The place is one of the cleanest hotels I’ve been to in a while and the staff are welcoming, informative and generous.”
